A little about Wallace Green…

We've been on a break.

We haven't printed our newsletter since the last century. That's probably why you didn't know we've been on a break.

That's actually why Larry didn't know we were taking a break.

Since our time off, this is how things have changed:

Brian used to be in the 311 fan club. They had a newsletter that would get mailed to 1818 Chandler Road on a regular basis. We don't know if he's still in the 311 fan club. We've been meaning to ask him. If he is, I wonder if he gets special privileges that aren't allowed to non fan club members. Like - do they have regular meetings and talk about 311 stuff?

I just asked him. He said it was our roomate, Wilmer. Wilmer doesn't attend regular 311 meetings anymore.

Actually, all the bands used to have a physical mailing list. Vibe, Ella Speed, Spider Monkey, Floyd's Funk Revival, Pulse, S.M.O… We used to get together and have meetings and talk about our mailing lists. It was great!

Wallace Green is having a "remote band meeting" right now about newsletters. It's awesome!

Nowadays, only insurance companies print newsletters.

Chris is no longer playing that crappy-ass Marshall half stack.

Larry is still playing the exact same drum set. No kidding. The exact same one…

Kids don't understand why people use "…" at the end of a sentence.

It's to add dramatic suspense and leave an implied suggestion up to the reader.

Electronic mail addresses don't cost money anymore.

I had to read that last sentence again, too. It's right… it's right.

At least 33% of Wallace Green wears insoles inside of their Chucks for "support".

Here's an artist rendering of what the band still looks like to this day:
